2021 predictions - Fortuna Business Management Consulting

Jack Smith, CEO, Fortuna Business Management Consulting (Fortuna BMC)

This year intensified the reliance of businesses in digitalization and technology. It has proven that the unusual remote workforce is also a productive and reliable workforce. Technology has strengthened connectivity within teams as well as leveraged virtual remote support services.

As a business and IT consulting company comprised of technology experts, Fortuna BMC believes that technology will continue to become a collaborator uniting organizations and supporting remote work setups. Businesses will continue to be accessed and operated anywhere with secured cloud-based systems. Remote work will become the backbone of doing businesses. Companies will give priority to virtual collaboration tools to maintain productivity as well as resources to support the success of employees while working remotely. Video conferencing platforms will also be given importance to enhance communications and keep connectivity within team members.

With businesses adapting with the remote setup, companies would want to protect their employees and invest in data security. The increase of data digitalization and information accessible online will continue to bring a rise in cybercrimes. Amidst the global pandemic this year, we have seen a spike in cyber threats — attacking social media platforms, banks, healthcare facilities, hospitality brands and other business entities. Cyber criminals have been creative in finding ways to access homes, personal devices and corporate networks. Data breaches affected businesses, both small and large, all over the globe. In the upcoming year, we expect more tools that will be capable of phishing sensitive data from individuals as well as innovative methods to break down companies’ IT infrastructure. Cyber security will definitely be a big deal for the upcoming year. We, at Fortuna BMC, will continue to be proven leaders in the field, with the knowledge, experience and resources to successfully identify, analyze and mitigate risk and compliance threats for both public and private sector clients. As an organization, we appreciate Fortinet’s unparalleled approach to data security and integrate it in our own safety and security solutions.

Even before the pandemic hit this year, Fortuna BMC always had a remote work setup for majority of its employees, and this will continue to operate remotely for the upcoming year. We will maximize CRM solutions for our business processes and customer engagements. We will leverage our project management tools for our team’s collaboration and productivity. Our Contact Center Support will also expand as we continue to provide versatile call center support and management teams for any industry. Currently our newly-developed call center team is rapidly growing, providing support to Midwestern US locations, as well as scaling up our existing California operations. We are also growing our Remote Support Services including offshore call centre, helpdesk and custom software support, with remote offices currently located in the Philippines and Israel.

We will continue to deliver process-oriented solutions and provide Information Technology services including, but not limited to, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Data Security, Custom Software Development, Project Management, Business Process Engineering (BPE), Solution Architecture and Organizational Change Management. Our management and consulting staffs are practicing professionals with skillsets that come from multi-faceted consulting engagements and industry-recognized certifications.
